We are in the process of making the first racetrack for the race mode of trance resource race. Lots of inspiration has come from wipeout and episode 1 racer.

Above you can see the somewhat hectic test setup for Trance Resource Race. (Remember, placeholder name, if you have any name suggestions shoot them our way.) The setup uses two twinsticks for steering and attacking, an H pattern shifter for shifting and 3 pedals for gas, brake, and something undecided (likely clutch or dodge).
We also now have a placeholder ship model in the game to demo the movement model progress so far. The movement is a lot of math so it's taking up the majority of effort to really refine.

Hello all! This minor update fixes bugs that were in the previous prototype. These include animation fixes, dialogue skip fixes, game breaking crash fixes, new font for the text, and making names easier to read. That’s all for now. Put your feedback in the pre-release feedback form so we can keep making the game better!

Hello all, Illegal Space Trucking 1.0.0 is live!!! So, what has changed from the game jam version? We have added 2 new items you can encounter in the game: The nebula and the package. The nebula blocks out view and requires shields up while things still spawn, the package is just some points but you need to not avoid it or shoot it. We also changed the speed at which bars fill to be twice as fast. All together these help greatly to balance the game and make it feel more like a proper arcade game than the game jam version. Additionally a session high score has been added (meaning this does reset when you close the game) and a screensaver style main menu screen, which features gameplay and info about items like an old style arcade game. Feel free to fill out our feedback form on the game and look forward to more projects and progress soon!
